Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2
Activision

I can honestly say THPS2 never gets old.  The more I play it the more I like it, and if no more games were to ever come out, I could just play Tony Hawk some more and I’d be happy.  It blows my mind that they were able to top the first game with the sequel.  I remember spending 3 hours in Philly trying to break 200,000 for the first time.  Now I can do it in a move or two.  Now that is a rewarding experience.
Zelda 1/3/Ocarina
Nintendo
This is totally cheating but I didn’t want this part of my list to read Zelda, Zelda, Zelda.  It would have though, because it doesn’t get much better than any of these groundbreaking titles.  Zelda 1 was awesome because there was absolutely no clues as to which trees could be burnt or which walls could be bombed, so the first time my family and I played it we just bombed and burnt everywhere, trying to find the elusive level 8.  This experience wasn’t quite the same in the SNES and N64 versions, but I love them nonetheless.

Wario's Woods
Nintendo

The Christmas I got Wario’s Woods we opened presents on Christmas Eve.  When I got to this one I opened it up and tossed it aside.  It was pretty low on my Christmas list and I wasn’t even sure why my Mom even got it for me.  That night I played a few minutes of every game that I got, by the time I got around to playing Wario’s Woods I was pretty tired, but the moment I picked up the controller I couldn’t stop.  I played it all night up until the time I had to get ready for church.  I slept through church, and then when we got back I played it some more.  This only got worse and I spent most of my middle school weekends playing Wario’s Woods in my best friends basement.  I can only hope for another unexpected Christmas Present some day.
Street Fighter Alpha 3
Capcom
Street Fighter Alpha 3 is the best fighting game ever.  Not so much revolutionary as evolutionary, it combines the best of all of the Street Fighters before it and adds the great world-tour mode to the equation, allowing for character customization.  A few of my friends and I started an online strategy guide for this game that was never finished because we just sat around and played the game every time we got together.  I’ve become fairly confident in my skills.

Super Mario 64
Nintendo

The first time I played Super Mario 64 was the import in a Die Hard game club in St. Louis, MO.  I only played for about five minutes before my mom and sister dragged me out, but I dreamed of it almost every moment until the day it showed up at the local Toys R’ Us for demo.  Then I would go there with my friends almost every day of the week until it came out.  I had already found over 25 stars at the store by the N64s release date, and I came home sick from school the day it came out to pick mine up.  My friend, who had skipped school as well, called me soon after I got home and we raced each other to 30 stars.  Mario 64 is gaming magic.
So there is is.  My List of the Top 15 Games of all time.  A lot of you will disagree with me.  Many of you never made it to the end because I mentioned Pokemon near the beginning.  It was hard to put together this list because there are a lot of other games that I wanted to squeeze in there, and Final Fantasy and Metal Gear kept moving to different spots on the list.  I'm very excited for the end of this year.  It looks like one of the best years for games since SNES days.  If everything goes well we should have a new Mario for a new system, a new Metal Gear, and a new Tony Hawk, any of which could supplant my present chart toppers.  But for now this is my list and I'm sticking to it.  If you agree or think I'm an idiot let me know.  Know in advance that Mario World was better than Sonic 1 no matter what you say :-)
